Oh, I finished the kit. Sigh. And I have to say as kits go, I give this one very mixed marks. The components are top notch. The directions are well done. But the project is marketed for beginners and I think the project is ill-conceived for beginners. The donut is off-center and the wire wrapping absolutely wants to creep on the left to the narrower portion of the donut constantly. I worked and worked on it until finally the wire broke and I had to improvise. It doesn’t look *horrible*, especially if you don’t know what it is supposed to look like. In the end, I will probably stare at it a while then take it apart for the components and make something else out of it. I am an advanced crafter but a beginner to intermediate jeweler and I was frustrated and ultimately disappointed by this kit.
